her dolls celebrated holidays, married, exchanged letters with the
children and so much more. Visit
to see Daisy Brownthrush, a doll handmade by Tasha as well as original
paintings, photographs of the dolls visiting England, Sparrow Post Valentines, doll catalogues and more.

Exhibit Opening with Curator 4-7pm The museum opens
a new exhibit featuring dresses from Tasha Tudor’s historic costume
collection. Though much of her collection has been dispersed around the
world into the hands of various museums and collectors after the
Whitaker-Augusta auction in 2007, Tasha chose to keep a selection of
prized dresses, in her words, “very choice.”
Tasha Tudor’s family has graciously allowed our curator to
peruse the remaining family heirloom costume collection and display
curator selected dresses to the public, many for the first time.
Included in the exhibition will be dresses worn, made, and illustrated
by Tasha, as well as dresses exquisitely representative of the Romantic
Era, Tasha’s favorite period in history.
