Tasha Tudor Museum Activities and Sample Exhibit

In the historic Jeremiah Beal House, 974 Western Ave, West Brattleboro, Vermont 

The Tasha Tudor Museum opens for the summer, Friday, June 4th, as part of Brattleboro’s Gallery Walk.  While our search and fundraising continues for a suitable building and public facilities, we have a modest exhibition space in the historic Jeremiah Beal building in West Brattleboro , Vermont .  Come visit the sample exhibit, try your hand at a few fiber related activities and watch a weaving demonstration on one of Tasha’s antique looms. Thank you to our Charter Members who have made this space possible. Admission is free.

January 12 - December 31, 2009 Fortunately, there is no need to wait until 2010 for the opening exhibition. The Museum thanks the Ford family for their remarkable story which we bring to you as the first online exhibition. 

March 2008-March 2009  Select pieces from the Helen Day Art Center exhibit (below) joins a larger collection and travels to Japan to be shown in many locations around the country.

Showcasing 19 pieces of original art, a marionette and the rarely-seen Miss Daisy Brownthrush, a doll made by Tasha Tudor.

 

Special Events

Pumpkin Moonshine September 13, 2008 The Tasha Tudor Museum will hold its first public event to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the publication of Tasha Tudor's first book, Pumpkin Moonshine.  All proceeds will benefit the Museum. More information
